Barnacre-with-Bonds is located in the Wyre area of Lancashire, England, and is the name of a civil parish there. The population increased from 1,751 in the 2001 census to 2,148 in the 2011 census. Bonds, Calder Vale, and Bowgreave are all within the boundaries of the parish, which extends to the south and east of Garstang.
Garstang Community Academy, previously Garstang High School, and a nineteen-hole golf course can be found in Bowgreave, not far from the Great Western Hotel. The Kenlis Arms Hotel, a tavern in Barnacre, was once a hunting lodge constructed in 1856.
Calder Vale is one of the most remote communities in England, with only a single road leading there. Situated in a steep valley next to the Calder River, it offers picturesque views. Barnacre is home to some luxurious, self-catering cottages.
