At DAES, students achieved a remarkable 93% pass rate in graphics, with over half of students achieving grade 7 and above. In photography, 88% of students achieved grade 4+, and in English and maths, students achieved strong results. The Studio school’s focus on developing employability skills through “real-world” learning and opportunities for engaging with local businesses has clearly paid off.

Students at DAES have been given the chance to work on real projects, develop their problem-solving skills, and build relationships with local employers. This approach has not only helped students to develop their technical skills, but also to develop important soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management.

One student, Eva R, achieved two distinction grades in childcare and health and social care and three grade 7s in English language, English literature, and citizenship.
